Job Description

CAA Insurance is looking to hire a creative and solutions orientated Technical Business Consultant to join our Insurance team.

What You Will Do

  • Build long-term relationships with clients by communicating clear expectations; assist in project sizing, resource and scope estimates
  • Lead sessions with business representatives to perform business needs analysis
  • Lead documentation of business initiatives using standardized templates
  • Prepare business requirements documents that clearly define the business problems, business objectives, and options / solutions
  • Assist in project planning and provide regular status reports to management
  • Provide and advise on technology solutions to meet business needs
  • Continually assess new solutions and processes to ensure those solutions meet customer’s expectations
  • Identify, develop, and document testing strategies with acceptance criteria to validate business requirements
  • Provide Tier II end-user support to both internal and external users, partners and vendors
  • Configuration of rate tables and products
  • Administration and access management of user roles and permissions
  • What You Have

  • Minimum 2 years’ proven experience in the Insurance or Finance industries
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Business Consultant
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Post-secondary education in Business or Information Technology or CIP designation
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong technical acumen and demonstrated experience in data gathering, data analysis, data backfilling, and the creation of conceptual and logical models
  • Experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Visio and MS Project
