CAA Insurance is looking to hire a creative and solutions orientated Technical Business Consultant to join our Insurance team.
What You Will Do
Build long-term relationships with clients by communicating clear expectations; assist in project sizing, resource and scope estimates
Lead sessions with business representatives to perform business needs analysis
Lead documentation of business initiatives using standardized templates
Prepare business requirements documents that clearly define the business problems, business objectives, and options / solutions
Assist in project planning and provide regular status reports to management
Provide and advise on technology solutions to meet business needs
Continually assess new solutions and processes to ensure those solutions meet customer’s expectations
Identify, develop, and document testing strategies with acceptance criteria to validate business requirements
Provide Tier II end-user support to both internal and external users, partners and vendors
Configuration of rate tables and products
Administration and access management of user roles and permissions
What You Have
Minimum 2 years’ proven experience in the Insurance or Finance industries
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Business Consultant
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Post-secondary education in Business or Information Technology or CIP designation
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills
Strong technical acumen and demonstrated experience in data gathering, data analysis, data backfilling, and the creation of conceptual and logical models
Experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Visio and MS Project
