Personal Lines CSR - Mississauga

Main responsibilities include :

  • Accountable for providing excellent customer service to our clients
  • Promotes client loyalty through attention to detail and relationship-building
  • Ensures quality and productivity objectives are met
  • Ensures underwriting guidelines are adhered to when providing insurance coverage
  • Ensures attention to detail on system to reduce any risk to the organization
  • Remains current on all company philosophies and procedures
  • Accepts risks within established guidelines
  • Discuss with clients on telephone and in person and provide information on the company’s products and services.
  • Process applications and / or requests on broker management system
  • Communicate changes or adjustment to clients.
  • Assist in soliciting sales of new products and policies.
  • Manage and protect the reputation of the company.
  • To succeed as an insurance client service representative, the perfect candidate needs to possess the following Qualifications :

  • Previous sales and service, call centre and / or personal lines insurance experience is considered an asset
  • Level 1 RIBO license
  • Knowledge of Powerbroker, compu-quote and insurance company portals an asset
  • Excellent computer / keyboarding skills
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and non-verbal.
  • Must be punctual at all times and able to put in flexible working hours.
  • A good listener with sound judgment.
  • Ability to cope in a fast paced job environment.
  • He / she must be able to critically analyze all situations and solve problems efficiently.
