Main responsibilities include :
Accountable for providing excellent customer service to our clients
Promotes client loyalty through attention to detail and relationship-building
Ensures quality and productivity objectives are met
Ensures underwriting guidelines are adhered to when providing insurance coverage
Ensures attention to detail on system to reduce any risk to the organization
Remains current on all company philosophies and procedures
Accepts risks within established guidelines
Discuss with clients on telephone and in person and provide information on the company’s products and services.
Process applications and / or requests on broker management system
Communicate changes or adjustment to clients.
Assist in soliciting sales of new products and policies.
Manage and protect the reputation of the company.
To succeed as an insurance client service representative, the perfect candidate needs to possess the following Qualifications :
Previous sales and service, call centre and / or personal lines insurance experience is considered an asset
Level 1 RIBO license
Knowledge of Powerbroker, compu-quote and insurance company portals an asset
Excellent computer / keyboarding skills
Ability to multi-task.
Effective communication skills both verbal and non-verbal.
Must be punctual at all times and able to put in flexible working hours.
A good listener with sound judgment.
Ability to cope in a fast paced job environment.
He / she must be able to critically analyze all situations and solve problems efficiently.
