Role :

The Senior Program Manager, Architecture & Design Program Management (ADPM) is a hands-on, multi-faceted, demanding and dynamic role which encompasses all areas of graphics board solution development for AMD's Consumer, Professional Graphics and Data Center business units.

The ADPM team comprises of functions covering Engineering Program Management, Application Engineering, Systems Product Engineering and Technical Documentation fields.

The role requires proactive and frequent engagement with cross-functional teams to ensure both internal and external customers are enabled for successful planning, design, development and validation of their platforms with AMD's graphics and processor solutions.

  • You are required to have demonstrated strategic programs and people management experience and must have capability to deliver;
  • Unification of cross business unit product requirements into a cohesive and achievable engineering delivery plan
  • Management and alignment of design deliverables into corporate phase gate review process
  • Coordination of 3rd parties & contract manufacturers to align material supply and prototype deliveries in line with committed schedules
  • Process innovation and drive to standardization
  • Requirements :

  • Knowledge of the graphics market and related industries
  • Proven experience in rapid product prototyping and high mix, fast turn, product development from design to mass production
  • Experience in leading and directing international teams in a technology environment
  • Ability to execute complex analysis, and communicate summary findings / recommendations to senior management
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel in both North America and Asia (up to 10%)
  • Qualifications :

  • 15 years of experience in technology product delivery (preferably silicon / semi-conductor based)
  • 5 years as an Manager, Technical Leader or Senior Program Manager with direct reports
  • Engineering Degree (Masters preferred)
  • Additional education, certification or specialized learning related to above business segments would be advantageous
