Responsibilities

  • Act as a Business Partner to assigned client groups and provide front line support in answering questions and responding to requests from employees;
  • Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements and establish recruiting strategy;
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment including analyzing workforce needs, identifying sourcing strategies, managing job postings, screening and interviewing;
  • Manage the processes associated with employee onboarding and offboarding, including pre-employment background checks, new hire paperwork and onboarding logistics, orientation meetings and exit interviews;
  • Support the Director, HR with the Performance and Compensation Management processes and guide assigned client groups in the use of performance management and compensation planning systems;
  • Prepare HR documentation including promotion / transfer letters, performance management documentation, compensation adjustments, HR communications, organizational charts, etc.
  • Work in partnership with the external consultants to assist with the relocation processes and work permits;
  • Support with the budget preparation and monitoring;
  • Produce and analyze reports out of the Human Resources Information System.
  • Requirements

  • Proven skills in strategic recruitment and a clear understanding of the end to end recruitment lifecycle process
  • Advanced organizational skills coupled with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to roll-up her / his sleeves and get involved at a detailed level to ensure that appropriate solutions are delivered in a timely way;
  • Ability to adapt to different styles and to develop cooperative relationships with employees at all levels in the organization;
  • Ability to communicate tactfully and exhibit a high level of discretion and sound judgment in dealing with confidential information;
  • Qualifications

  • Hold a University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources or in a related field;
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant work experience including experience with recruitment, onboarding, performance management and compensation management;
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience acting as a Business Partner to assigned client groups;
  • Advanced Excel skills required and experience working with HRIS Systems;
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English; French is considered an asset.
