Position Summary

Reporting to the Regional Manager, Financial Reporting & Treasury Services, the Finance Process Analyst, Rate Setting develops, recommends and maintains policies, procedures and protocols for operation of Northern Health’s Home and Community Care rate setting.

Rate Setting covers all financial process elements of the rate setting cycle, in addition to interim rates, financial profile and calculations, temporary rate reductions, exceptions to policy, and third-party rates. Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in Business Administration or related field and / or professional designation (CA, CMA, CGA) supplemented by three (3) to five (5) years recent, related experience in data management and quality and process improvement, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Valid BC Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle for business related purposes.

  • Ability to plan and organize work.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including the reporting and presentation of information in a clear and concise manner, computer literacy and business skills used to develop proposals / business cases.
