Do you want to gain real-life work experience that will compliment your studies and also enhance your skills? If you answered yes, read on! The Toronto Office is looking for a student to join their Human Resources team beginning September 2019.

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the HR student will provide technical and administrative support for several key strategic initiatives including the implementation of a companywide HRMS, creation and implementation of an expanded Health & Safety Management System, participate in preparation for the COR certification process, and assist in the roll out of other initiatives as outlined in RVA's Strategic Plan.

RVA's HR Student will have an active part in the day-to-day operations of the HR department. As such, there will also be exposure to other aspects of human resources common to a professional services company This is a 4-

month contract position with the potential for extension. Duties : Assist with the implementation, roll out and staff training for Ceridian Dayforce Assist with the implementation of an expanded Health & Safety Management system, including document preparation, legislation review and coordination and training Assist in the development and roll out of diverse career paths and staff development initiatives.

Assist the Human Capital Strategic Planning Committee with development and implementation of key initiatives including training and development, retention, recognition and engagement.

Performs other duties as assigned and appropriate for this position. Qualifications : Individual must currently be enrolled in a human resources program at a recognized college / university.

Demonstrates superior English communication skills both oral and written. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work in an interactive team atmosphere.
