Summary of the function
Under the supervision of the IT Program Manager and Continuous Improvement, the incumbent of this position is responsible for managing technological and continuous improvement projects of different levels of complexity supporting the strategic alignments of the organization and the different business needs of its customers.
He is also in charge of analyzing functional needs and techniques, from the design and implementation of new YQB IT services according to the established strategy and the business needs of the organization and its customers in terms of information technology.
The incumbent must also ensure that the continuous improvement program is maintained in the organization. He supports his clients in defining the expected levels of service provision, in developing objectives as well as in optimizing processes when required.
He helps maintain constant visibility of the state of organizational performance.
As part of his role, he must demonstrate his commitment to the following three aspects :
the delivery of the projects in which it participates;
the smooth progress of the transition of the new services from design to their operations;
the delivery of the new services according to the agreements of established services.
He must work in close collaboration with his superior as well as other IT and continuous improvement program managers in order to contribute to carrying out business analyzes as well as to the program.
Its main objective is to set up new services at the best possible cost, as soon as possible and meeting the desired level of service.
Assure the functions of analysis and d e project management
Prepare, develop and lead workshops which aim to promote value-added activities in the organization;
Analyze the functional and technical needs of internal and external clients for technology projects;
Contribute, in collaboration with the IT program manager and continuous improvement, to the identification of the organization's business needs at the level information technology.
Perform the research required to develop solutions that meet these needs;
Participate in the identification of operational issues related to its projects in collaboration with administrators;
Manage technological and continuous improvement projects of different levels of complexity supporting the business plan, management and organization;
Specify the objectives, directions and scope of its projects;
Develop the work plan and define the deliverables;
Evaluate and plan the timetables, financial and human resources required as well as ensure monitoring and control;
Identify the risks associated with carrying out projects (costs, deadlines, human resources), contributing to their monitoring and proposing possible solutions in order to minimize their impact on the completion and success of projects;
Ensure a distribution optimal tasks and functions within its project in order to meet customer expectations at all times, build the team and coordinate assignments;
Ensure the delivery of projects respecting the schedule, budget and established program;
Participate in the drafting of calls for tenders, requests to openmandates and requests for modifications, ensure follow-up and perform reminders;
Prepare, revise and transmit the contractual documents submitted and participate in all correspondence of project management;
Prepare or coordinate the preparation of plans and specifications;
Recommend the selection of suppliers and or design and carry out the supply and follow-up (as required);
Collaborate in the identification opportunities to reduce costs, improve the work environment and certain strategic projects;
Lead project meetings and write reports;
Carry out the post mortem of projects;
Participate in contract negotiations and manage budgets;
Manage teams of professionals and internal specialists;
Coordinate and supervise work;
Apply and enforce the safety standards in force.
Produce the documents project management (progress reports, project closure form, etc.);
Ensure the availability and quality of documentation and knowledge bases on the technology implemented as part of projects.
The employee must ensure that he is aware of his role and responsibilities in the following systems : Safety Management System (SMS), Safety Management System environment (EMS), health and safety and airport security as well as emergency plans.

Studies or equivalence
University or post-secondary diploma (DEC) in computer science or software engineering or acceptable layout d studies, training and / or experience
Other knowledge or training
Mastery of management techniques and concepts of projects, PMP certification at out;
Knowledge of the airport sector, its operations and the technologies used;
Knowledge of procedures, standards, operating standards and IT security;
Microsoft environment (Office Suite, Windows and Windows Server environments, Active Directory (AD), Exchange servers, SQL server, etc.);
Knowledge of IT security;
Knowledge of business analysis methods;
Knowledge of corporate IT networks;
Understanding and knowledge of the principles of managing a corporate technological environment;
Experience in LEAN projects;
Knowledge of the methodology and tools used in Six Sigma and Lean;
Six Sigma certification from a reputable company, an asset;
Ability to understand and simplify complex processes as well as a keen sense of analysis;
Ability to '' supervise and develop the members of the project team;
Proven skills in facilitation, negotiation and entrepreneurial approach;

For at least 5 years on the IT job market;
Significant experience in a project manager position;
Experience in designing technological solutions and systems integration;
Experience in coordinating work carried out by professionals or external suppliers.
