  • Manager, Business Analyst ( Supply Chain)

    As the Manager, Business Analyst Supply Chain and Manufacturing, you are responsible for developing strong, collaborative relationships with the Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams, particularly at the leadership level to understand and align on the IT and business strategies, and to proactively establish priorities strategic initiatives.

    While you will also serve as the relationship leader between the key stakeholders in the Supply Chain, Manufacturing IT teams, you will also coach Business Analysts on the team and help to identify opportunities and solutions for improvements to processes.

    You will effectively and efficiently oversee the joint projects between IT and the business teams to ensure robust, sustainable solutions are delivered.

    This entails, but is not limited to, connecting with the appropriate users to define requirements on the various improvement projects, effectively communicate such requirements to the IT Team and most importantly, in collaboration with the various groups in the IT team, oversee the critical path of each project and ensure timelines and targets are planned for, properly communicated to all players and aligned across all applicable teams.

    Priorities constantly change you will not be directly responsible for timelines to be met, but you will carry the responsibility of properly communicating the changes to all team members, alignment in understanding between the teams, and escalating issues when necessary.

    Primary Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across the Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT teams to understand strategies, priorities and identify sustainable solutions
  • Define and execute strategic project roadmaps for IT solutions to achieve business goals
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gain an appropriate depth and breadth of understanding of Supply Chain and Manufacturing processes, tools, and future needs within the context of FGF’s business strategy
  • Establish a cadence with key Supply Chain and Manufacturing stakeholders to ensure businesses are up to date on initiatives, developments, new technologies
  • Coach and guide business analysts to resolve issues, improve processes, and develop constructive relationships with stakeholders
  • Intimately understand Supply Chain and Manufacturing processes to be able to add value to upcoming projects and actively contribute to continuous improvements in the Supply Chain space
  • Understand and identify business opportunities, prioritize initiatives in alignment with business needs, and ensure on time delivery of high-quality solutions
  • Work closely with the team to define detailed business requirements
  • Translate business requirements into functional requirements. In collaboration with subject matter experts and users, communicate on possible solutions to ensure that best, most efficient solutions are selected
  • Work with IT colleagues to develop innovative solutions and test functionality to ensure fulfillment of business requirements
  • Help to ensure data integrity and quality on an on-going basis, including extracts and migration to new tools
  • Have thorough knowledge of all Supply Chain and Manufacturing applications
  • Support users and serve as a primary point of contact on behalf of the IT organization
  • Provide excellent customer service to our business stakeholders and team members
  • Required Ingredients :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain in a manufacturing environment (specifically, with experience in a Production Scheduler role).
  • Food Manufacturing experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports .
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration or a closely related field.
  • Experience leading teams
  • Experience with SAP and implementations
  • Experience and / or education in continuous improvement, six sigma or lean manufacturing is highly desirable
  • Strong project management skills, prioritizing workloads to effectively and efficiently meet deadlines
  • Excellent computer skills including databases, spreadsheets, reporting technologies
  • Excellent verbal / written communication, problem solving, analytical, and independent judgment skills to support a customer-centric, collaborative environment
  • Ability to obtain, document, and interpret business requirements into functional requirements that can be used for system design
  • Ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders and colleagues
  • Strong ability to collaborate, influence and negotiate to build consensus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
