Reporting to site supervision, the role of Apprentice Scaffolder will be expected to start on August 7 with an 5 and 2 shift rotation.
This position will perform general plant maintenance at our client’s facility located at Wolf Lake.
Candidates must live in the Cold Lake / Bonnyville area, only local candidates will be considered.

Must be a qualified Apprentice Scaffolder with a minimum of 2 years construction and / or plant experience
Must possess and maintain a valid Alberta Drivers’ License and meet requirements of Quinn Approved Driver Program
Able to meet requirements of Physical Demands Analysis
Achieve 100% completion of mandatory Quinn and client training
Pre-access Drug & Alcohol test
Training Required : CSTS-09, H2S Alive, First Aid (CPR), Fall Arrest (full), Confined Space (full)
Estimate labour and material required for individual scaffold builds effectively
Able to safely and efficiently erect all types of scaffolding with little or no supervision (i.e. towers, cantilevers and hanging scaffolds)
Identify ideal type of scaffolding material to use for the job (i.e. frame, tube & clamp, system)
Strong mechanical aptitude
Work within a multi trade environment
Effectively communicate scope of work to your assigned scaffolding crew / (s)
Maintain relations with client and co-workers through effective interpersonal and communication skills
Organize PTA meetings
Work within and understand site permitting requirements
Demonstrate high degree of safety awareness and a commitment to safety (his / hers and others )
Must maintain good relations with client and fellow employees through effective interpersonal and communication skills
