Generating demand doesn't start with what we're selling. It's about fostering real client connections, grounded on understanding.

As a global leader in B2B assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services, the insight we deliver at EY helps build trust and confidence in capital markets and global economies.

We're working hand-in-hand to help leading Canadian companies transform their business for what comes next, and prepare for what comes after that.

Our Markets Organization is singularly focused on supporting that mission through strategic planning, execution and reporting.

We're looking for a dynamic marketing leader who'll bring the perfect blend of business development know-how and marketing savvy to this contract role on our team.

As a Demand Generation Manager, you'll operate seamlessly within our proactive and integrated brand-to-demand team. Together, we'll dive deep to understand specific obstacles to sale, and then work with market segment, service line and solution leaders to overcome them with EY insights and capabilities, as well as client and market understanding.

This role is about developing and executing fully-integrated and customized campaigns focused on EY priorities. You'll also contribute to certain stand-alone go-to-market tactics and business enablement activities (from client feedback conversations and events to internal revenue planning, training and pipeline meetings).

Throughout, you'll be a single point of contact for a handful of senior stakeholders and partners across the firm. You'll offer strong business knowledge and modernized programs that distinguish us in the eyes of clients.

From reputation to relationships to revenue, succeeding in this role will mean understanding our business, our brand, and our customer - and then continuously evolving our marketing and account plans to help us win.

If you're a client-centric leader who embraces continuous innovation, this could be the role for you.

  • Execute the plan with flawless attention to detail and a focus on fresh, modern campaigns that align our clients needs with our priority areas
  • Plan, design, implement, and manage go-to-market activities aligned to hot topics and market trends
  • Build strong working relationships with EY leaders and serve as a trusted advisor
  • Collaborate closely with our Field Marketing and Centres of Excellence teams to deliver go-to-market excellence and innovative programs
  • Liaise with Account, Pursuits, Client Experience teams to share new assets and understand obstacles to sale, client wins / losses, and more
  • Continuously identify new opportunities and bring fresh ideas for improvement
  • Provide regular reporting against clearly established KPIs
  • Skills and attributes for success

  • Ability to develop strategic, proactive relationships with the C-suite and other EY leaders
  • Strong business acumen and grasp of leading brand-to-demand tactics
  • Marketing athlete with a broad range of experience from thought leadership development to strategic planning to communications, events and digital marketing
  • Track record of marrying client needs with powerful solutions through smart business development strategies
  • Experience bridging thought leadership, solutions, and client issues to build meaningful conversations and bolster relationships
  • At ease managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven and matrixed environment
  • Compelling public speaker and communicator who articulates concepts and ideas clearly
  • Strong strategic, organizational, and autonomous project management skills
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess, iterate and report on KPIs and results
  • Process-driven, always looking for ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Roll up our sleeves, can-do, positive attitude
  • Enthusiastic team player who thrives on new challenges, big ideas, and curiosity
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to navigate competing projects with ease
