Job Information :

IBISKA has recently won a multi-year contract with a Federal Government client for Network Specialists to support their classified Network production environment.

Individuals must have a minimum of 5 years of experience coordinating installation, operation, maintenance, resolution of hardware and software problems, monitoring of traffic, capacity planning, system backup and user training in a secure Network Environment.

Individuals must hold an active Top Secret security clearance in order to be considered

Responsibilities will include but will not limited to :

  • Prepare work plans, schedules and progress reports summarizing work completed to date, planned work and the identification of any problems, risks or impediments to successful task completion;
  • Coordinate installation, operation, maintenance, resolution of hardware and software problems, monitoring of traffic, capacity planning, system backup and user training for a Local Area Network;
  • Prepare implementation plans for assigned technologies or platforms;
  • Install and monitor components for assigned technologies;
  • Develop, implement, participate, and test a network disaster recovery plan;
  • Configure and optimize technical installations of software;
  • Troubleshoots, and responds to user problems; and
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of broad based technologies and products supporting the operational environment.
  • Skills / Qualifications Required

    Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years as a Network Support Specialist in a classified production

    Must have a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience within the last 8 years performing each of the following tasks :

  • managing and configuring high performance, low latency data center switches (Cisco Catalyst and Nexus) in a classified production environment;
  • managing and configuring an IP Multicast network within a classified production environment;
  • installing, loading, configuring and managing High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptors (HAIPE) devices (such as KG-250, KG-175 and KOV- 26) within a classified production environment.; and
  • managing and configuring Radio over IP (RoIP) enabled devices within a classified production environment.
  • Must hold a Top-Secret security clearance.
