As an Inside Sales Representative you will be responsible for generating new business with contractors in the store and over the phone.
The Inside Sales Representative is often the first impression and introduction to Herman’s Building Centres. Your job is to provide a world class customer experience and your ultimate goal is to create lasting customer relationships.
You will handle the sales process from A-Z. You will be comfortable closing deals over the phone and in person.
Through a combination of inbound and outbound contact strategies, maximize each sale that originate from walk-in clients, our website, business partners, marketing campaigns, email requests, and other methods.
Effectively qualify, conduct needs analysis, and follow-up with prospects to ensure they purchase products and services that meet their needs.
Field and respond to incoming calls and other inquiries.
Cold-calling contractors and related lead generation.
Attain and exceed direct and cross-sell sales goals.
Skills and Experience
Ability to prospect, qualify and close sales.
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of B2B sales experience required; experience dealing with contractors a definite asset.
Sales experience in the construction industry is preferable.
Must be comfortable meeting and exceeding monthly quotas. o Proficient organizational skills and good problem-solving skills.
A positive attitude, confident, and desire to be the best.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Good general computer skills.
Previous telephone sales experience.
The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
