As a Senior Manager in US Personal Tax your responsibilities will include :
Planning and participating in engagements involving tax compliance (personal and estate), foreign investment, estate and succession planning, and other consulting.
Supervision and review of the work of more junior team members
Overseeing multiple client engagements
Coaching and developing US Tax team members
Proactively working with the team to develop tax advice and solutions to clients and prospective clients to expand the business
Being part of a leadership team who meets with and presents to current and prospective clients
Playing an active role in the implementation of our advice
Making presentations to colleagues, clients, and other groups
Identifying and supporting new business opportunities and practice development initiatives
Continue building our reputation as the preferred business advisors in our market place

The attributes and skills required for this position include :
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, business, law, finance, and / or an accounting designation, JD / LLB or LLM
6 to 7 years of experience working in a professional services firm either in the US or Canada
Proven analytical, problem-solving, communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills
Commitment to exceptional client service
Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to be an active participant in the development of the US Tax team
Strong technical and professional skills
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to listen effectively and understand clients’ needs
