As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on various projects identified by the leadership team.

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Sales Support you are responsible to inspire, mentor, and coach our sales team and interface with extended stakeholders to align on sales operations accountabilities.

As a Strategy Manager, you are a transformative team player, with an innate ability to motivate those around you. It’s a challenging, consultative role, with equal parts of autonomy and collaboration.

At the core of your talents, is your ability to analyze, recommend and drive results. You will help fine tune and report on the performance of Sales Team, identify future opportunities for change and assess any training needs to fill gaps.

Here's how

  • Support strategic Initiatives Undertake ownership and delivery of results on special projects identified by the leadership team;
  • examples for such projects include Strat Check, special projects, new corporate priorities that require immediate attention, process improvement initiatives, PSO etc Process Improvement -

    Lead national, cross-functional teams to resolve challenges, implement process improvements, and execute our competitive strategy to deliver differentiated customer solutions and an exemplary customer experience Process Improvement -

    Interface with extended stakeholders (BCX, CSM, CSE) to ensure sales accountabilities are clear SFDC -Pull and consolidate data, Run Reports / Create Dashboards to support organizational requirements and support sales team Change champion help drive change through the organization, influences organizational change within and across business unit Support Training needs within the Enterprise sales organization Leveraging sales and business analytics, you will partner with Sales leaders & PSO to target areas requiring development of sales operations, sales methodology and business management Collaborating with the Sales Performance Team and Sales Leadership to remove obstacles to our premiere sales vision Analyses gaps, gap closure options and implementation plans for successful transformation of our sales team Represent the training needs of our stakeholder groups on projects and initiatives Interface with LevelJump and PSO to ensure sales is on schedule and on track for any training requirements SPOC to sales team for SFDC, ALTIFY, PSO questions and guidelines

  • Strategic relationships management Deliver on a plan that advances business unit through business development opportunities Manage relationships externally and internally Work across other business unit to ensure progress against both strategic and tactical initiatives Investigating, analyzing and making recommendations based on benchmarking exercises and support implement best practices across business unit
  • Qualifications

  • Proven track-record of working with a highly skilled, motivated, results-oriented sales team
  • Requires broad knowledge of organization
  • Demonstrate very strong knowledge of business analytics and process methodology
  • Consulting skills and reporting / presentation
  • Demonstrated facilitation and project management skills
  • Balances strategic thinking with tactical action to drive results
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and manage major projects to successful completion
  • Sales Acumen : Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Results-orientated and able to work independently
  • Great-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience
  • Experience with strategic planning and the ability to execute strategic initiatives
  • Experience in management consulting, project management, business analytics or a related function in industry (e.g., strategy, planning, operations) is beneficial
  • Please note : Preferred location is Ottawa or Toronto, but will consider others.
