Our client is nearly a 30 year consulting firm with 5 offices throughout Southwestern Ontario and the GTA. With a rich history and culture of delivering small to large scale design and project engineering services to Industrial, Commercial and Institutional clients, their Electrical Group is growing and the timing is ripe for an experienced leader to take the helm.

The company consists of over 60 consultants with an established Electrical Engineering team to support design services for their commercial and industrial clients throughout Ontario.

The position is based in London, Ontario, one of the most affordable cities in Canada with a h2 healthcare, education and lifestyle community that continues to grow in both culture and diversity.

Job Duties :

Working closely with a team of 5-6 Engineers, Technologists and EITs you would lead on a number of commercial, institutional and industrial electrical design projects.

You would also provide superior leadership guidance, mentoring, training and coaching, in addition to driving project deliverables.

Maintaining the technical competence and production requirements of projects

Providing exceptional client service and coordination assistance with internal and external project partners (consultants, contractors, etc.)

Qualifications :

Degree in Electrical Engineering

10-15+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer within the Engineering Consulting industry.

P.Eng designation is required

Extensive experience with commercial, institutional and industrial projects (Building Services, Fire, Power Distribution, Life Safety Systems, etc.)

Working knowledge of Ontario and National Building codes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
