Transdev is looking for an IT Technician for its head office located in Brossard, Quebec.
Your roadmap
Reporting to the CTO, the IT Technician is responsible for providing technology support to employees. The role involves the following for the Canada Head Office :
Specific knowledge
Microsoft systems (server, workstation)
Ticket management platforms
Microsoft solutions (AD, RDS, Windows Server, etc.)
Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, GPO, VLAN, TCP / IP services, etc.)
Administrative management of the Office 365 suite
Scripting is an asset.
Netskope, Carbon Black and ConnectWise is an asset
Responsibilities :
Provide telephone and on-site support for employees.
Ensure escalation of incidents and follow-up with employees.
Perform diagnostics, repairs and hardware installation for desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablets, printers, etc.
Provide software, hardware and operational support
Work on multiple files simultaneously
Maintain documentation of incidents within the ticketing software
Maintain hardware and software inventory
Use of remote control tools for problem resolution
Deploy software manually or automatically.
Document software processes.
Provide telephone or on-site support for employees.
Customer service oriented.
Your background
Profile sought - Skills required
DEC in Computer Techniques or equivalent.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Functional bilingualism in English and French
Experience in project management
Possess a vehicle as there is a lot of travel involved, mainly on the South Shore and occasionally in Montreal and on the North Shore (travel expenses and meals reimbursed).
