Under the direction of the Director, Strategic Communications & Marketing, the CRM & Website Coordinator is responsible for ensuring electronic content for prospective students, current students, faculty, and staff is kept current and accurate.
Maintains, updates and improves the content, functionality and navigation of the internet and intranet Web pages aligned with LA&PS by editing and updating content directly, liaising with other contacts, testing new options and web technologies and staying abreast of new trends in web technology and changes in web use.
The CRM & Website Coordinator will support the vision, mission, values and strategic direction of the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies and York University, and contribute to a positive, supportive and student-focused team environment of high performance, respect, trust, collaboration and continuous improvement, and embraces diversity and fosters inclusion.
University degree in marketing or information technology / computer science (e.g., software engineering or related discipline) or four years recent experience (i.
e. defined as within the last five years) working at York University and performing the same or similar tasks, or equivalent such as a community college diploma in a related filed, plus a minimum of 2 years experience in addition to the minimum experience required below.
Minimum two years demonstrated experience working directly with CRMs, such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Salesforce, or equivalent systems, updating websites, or coordinating editing / writing content and enhancing usability.
Experience in a postsecondary environment an asset.
Excellent written and oral communication skills to elicit and publish accurate information. Analytical skills for researching, analyzing and interpreting information.
Exercising good judgment, initiative and creative problem solving skills. Excellent organizational skills. Exercising tact, diplomacy and discretion when dealing with others.
Dealing courteously and effectively with people. Excellent interpersonal skills. Meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure of high volume.
Ability to multi-task and set priorities to handle multiple projects and deadlines, sometimes in response to changing / conflicting priorities.
Strong knowledge in a variety of computer software including : Photoshop, Dreamweaver, FTP, Adobe Acrobat. knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
Strong proficiency in HTML. Knowledge of Web site design and content management issues and user interfaces. Online data entry skills and knowledge of a large computerized record system.
Excellent judgment and initiative. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
