The Role :
The Pricing Strategy Manager will deliver sustainable and consistent net revenue realization grounded in a deep understanding of the Electrical Distribution Industry, consumer, leveraging the strength of the Electrozad and our breadth of execution capabilities.
The role requires strategic thinking, strong communication skills, effective relationship building, sense of ownership & accountability, as well as solid analytical acumen.

What you’ll be working on :
Lead the re-development of full revenue pricing strategy at a customer segment and economic region levels, in support of corporate price objectives and goals
Lead internal decision-making meetings to align & execute Pricing changes
Lead the design and implementation of new internal business analytics (ie. dashboards, etc.) to provide greater visibility to key drivers of business performance
Develop an in-depth understanding of Epicor Eclipse pricing capabilities and functionality
Develop methodologies & partner with Customer Service to engage Customer in pricing strategy changes
Create / modify pricing and load records in matrix files from a variety of sources in conjunction with sales and or purchasing and document accordingly
Use various tools to support review of material to optimize our process or methods of product pricing and measure impacts to gain market share
Review pricing practices through exception reports to assess our practices and profitability to customers and / or products
Standardize the pricing practices across the organization
Use strong problem-solving skills, to identify trends or price discrepancies within the system.
Create various reports to support business requests
Leverage Revenue Management best practices
Develop Revenue Management learning agenda with cross-functional departments
Develop and coach administrative assistants
Other duties as requested
Qualifications / Requirements
Who’s a good fit for the team :
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance preferred
Certified Pricing Professional (C.P.P.) designation
5+ years of work experience in pricing, Electrical distribution preferred
Advanced knowledge and experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning and Algorithms, business intelligence and data discovery systems, database technologies and Big Data Infrastructures, Eclipse / Universal database knowledge preferred
Skills with Access or SQL will be considered an asset to the position
A high level of Excel use is a specific requirement being experience with formulas / pivot tables / macros to create various data extracts and imports
Strong overall use of Microsoft Suite of products is required
Be able to analyze and review pricing processes with a level of detail with numbers, to draw appropriate conclusions, including eCommerce solutions
Ability to inspire, engage and enable at various levels of the organization
Strong influencing skills and proven ability at impacting agenda at senior level through collaboration and teamwork
Ability to work and think independently with limited direction and oversight
Deep understanding of financial modelling / evaluation, linking pricing to consumer and economic data
Change management experience at a senior level, including strong cross-functional management skills to drive change in the face of adversity
