    Job Description

    The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work in Canada Supply Chain activities supporting various business units ranging from Drilling and Well to Facilities Management to Information Technology.

    The successful candidate will work out of the St. John’s office and the Supply Chain Intern will report to the Head of Procurement, Canada.

    Responsibilities and Duties :

    We are looking for an intern who is eager to gain exposure to challenging tasks across Canada Procurement. This role will involve multiple projects ranging from strategic to operational tasks (potentially one large project, or several smaller projects).

    The expectations, deliverables and timelines will be agreed between the Supply Chain Intern and the relevant leader.

    Some areas of responsibilities include the following :

  • Develop sourcing strategy and execute a Request for Proposal process;
  • Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms;
  • Build should-cost models for selected services;
  • Execute tasks within the Requisition to Pay cycle (within SAP);
  • Drive improvement through LEAN methodology;
  • Aid with Local Content evaluations and reporting;
  • Contract management and administration.
  • Qualifications

    Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Commerce Business Administration

    GPA of 3.0 and above is required
