KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. To perform this job successfully, an individual is expected to perform each essential duty effectively.

  • Primary point of contact / interface for key customer for quality issues, meeting and visits.
  • For customer complaints / issues, drive cross-functional team activities to implement solutions using 8D approach in timely & effective manner.
  • RMA / SAR process owner : Track, drive and provide status updates internally as well as to customer. Provide accurate data & Failure Analysis reports for each RMA / SAR in timely manner.
  • Maintain Quality Metrics and drive continuous improvement to achieve the Quality goals.
  • Responsible for on-hold product / material disposition (MRB) in timely manner to support OTD.
  • Keep quality documents streamlined and up to date. Develop training materials, facilitates training and assesses training effectiveness accordingly.
  • Lead quality projects to establish, maintain and improve Quality Management Systems and processes. Analyses data as basis for continues improvement activities.
  • Supports the internal audit program, performs internal audits, documents audit findings, drives the resolution of issues found during internal audits and reports audit findings to management.
  • Assist engineering for Statistical Process Control, Process Capability analysis, Control Charts, rules for establishing control limits.
  • Work with supplier to resolve quality issues / excursions and correlation activities. Review supplier FA. Support supplier Quality Engineering group as needed.
  • Team up with purchasing and provide quality ratings for supplier scorecard.
  • EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE , AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Material Science engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality Engineering / Management and / or Failure Analysis Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
  • Green Belt, Black Belt, Certified Quality Engineer or other Engineering Certification is a plus
  • ISO 9001 standards working experience
  • Solid understanding of Quality tools, 8D, Ishikawa (Fishbone), 5Why, 5S, FMEA, SPC, DOE.
  • Organized and be able to prioritize effectively
  • Customer service working experience
  • Proficient in data analysis using excel / JMP analyze.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
