Your Opportunity :

The Facility Living / Supportive Living Program areas, within the Edmonton Zone-Continuing Care portfolio, has immediate openings for casual Administrative Support IV staff members.

Working with a diverse team of individuals in a fast-paced environment, you will use your advanced administrative skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives.

Duties include but are not limited to the following : Prepares, formats and distributes confidential information and documents for a wide range of meetings, education sessions and projects as related to the team’s areas of accountability.

Processes and submits approved expense claims to Accounts Payable.Assists in coordinating and production of complex reports and analytics.

Using data, develops graphs, charts and presentations.Demonstrates respect for self and others in all interactions.Provides Outlook calendar management and supports specialized clinical programs.

Supports a variety of standard office procedures to ensure day to day workflow remains continuous. Ensures appropriate supplies and equipment are available for teams.

  • Required Qualifications :

    Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in office of business administration, medical office assistant).

    Additional Required Qualifications :

    The successful candidate will have attained a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills are required.

    Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy are required.We are seeking an individual with outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.

    The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities is essential.Physical demands of the job include : Sitting for extended periods.

    Using a computer / keyboarding for extended periods.Lifting office / medical supplies and equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.

    Using repetitive motions.Lifting, bending, reaching and standing for prolonged periods.

    Preferred Qualifications :

    We are seeking an individual with a diploma in Office Administration (preferred) and a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a health care setting.
