What You’ll Do :
Reporting to the VP- Marketing , you’ll have the opportunity to work with passionate retailers, marketers, and agency people like yourself to bring the love of food to Canadians through our Brand Marketing -
Inspire programs and communications across the nation.
More specifically, you’ll be able to :
Contribute to the development of the annual marketing plan for the Inspire Brand
Development of brand / category specific communication plans
Development of brand dashboards and reports
Monitor and report on consumer, competitor and brand activity with analysis and recommendations
Budget management and reporting
Collaborate within the marketing team, cross functional teams and external agency partners to ensure seamless, executional excellence of plans and programs
Develop and deliver creative briefs
Work closely with the Creative team to ensure execution aligns with overall brand marketing strategies and objectives
Oversee and manage project work streams including project management and follow-ups, purchase orders and budget reconciliation, store communications, legal approvals, flyer programs, store event management and operational execution
Be creative to constantly review how to improve plans, ideas and processes that contribute to the brand’s success
Understand and uphold brand guardrails
Ensure organization and accessibility of brand documents and assets
Develop and issue meeting and status reports
Develop post mortem reports
Develop well informed points of view
Collaboration and dissemination of the right information to the right teams
Contribution to achievement of brand KPI’s
Lead governance process, ensure assets are ready on time, submitted and clear timelines are in place
What You’ll Need :
A passion for food and understand how to go to market for food
Brand Ambassador experience, strongly engaged to understand the business
University or college degree in business, marketing or an equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
3 5years of relevant work experience in retailing, advertising, marketing or merchandising environment. Preferably experience in CPG environment.
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple projects
Exceptional interpersonal skills in order to effectively source information, obtain approvals and build relationships
Creative problem solver with a strong work ethic and ability to work within a team and autonomously a fast-paced environment while collaborating and working well with colleagues
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
Project Management experience which include leadership motivation and mentoring capabilities
Good judgment and experience in the development of creative / communications
Strategic thinker and Proactive
Strong leadership and team building skills where people really enjoy working with you!
Specific Demonstrated Experience With :
Contributing to annual planning, including budgeting and reporting
Developing clear communication plans that contribute to the success of the brand and KPI’s
Directing plans to successful project execution
Contributing to the achievement of brand objectives
Contributing to plan development
Contributing to and management of governance process for your Inspire brand projects
The occasional travel within Canada may be required, along with local store visits from time to time.
