Our client, a friendly midsize law firm located in the core of downtown Toronto, is actively seeking a Corporate / Securities Law Clerk who is a team oriented, enthusiastic, and self-driven individual to join their firm!
The successful applicant will be detail-oriented, a good communicator with excellent oral / written skills, and be able to multi-task, prioritize, and take initiative.
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Securities Law is required.
Responsibilities will include law clerk duties related to incorporations, organizations, acquisitions, tax reorganizations, and financings, as well as maintenance of corporate records and annual minutes, due diligence support, and transactional closing support, including the preparation of closing agendas / documents and record books.
