POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Supervisor ensures the all shipping, receiving, transfer and deliveries are completed on time with accuracy according to corporate directives and policies.

The Warehouse Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring the inventory control measures are met and actions are taken to resolve discrepancies, as well as ensuring all the Warehouse Associates are trained to carry out warehouse duties in a efficiently and accurately.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pick, count and create transfers for inventory replenishment for all store locations;
  • Receive new product shipments and distribute to all stores locations;
  • Assist with preparing all outgoing shipment for inter-company transfers;
  • Lead, train and develop Warehouse Associate to perform all warehouse duties;
  • Assist Warehouse Manager with Opening and Closing of the Warehouse;
  • Point of contact and responsible for all activities in the absence of Warehouse Manager;
  • Follow and suggest areas of improvements for warehouse and inventory organizational system;
  • Ensure all warehouse equipment are functioning properly and report any deficiencies to your supervisor and related parties;
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance;
  • Conduct inventory / cycle count based on a schedule;
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures;
  • Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices;
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
  • REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor;
  • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques;
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data;
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
