The duties listed below while not complete, and intended to demonstrate the scope of this position.
Working with the Sales Manager, source sales and business development opportunities with both existing and new customers.
Manage assigned existing customer accounts, including projects; provide quotations for various scopes of freight movement.
Working with Account Executives to develop new business and customer relationships.
Attend trade shows while representing Mullen Trucking, potentially outside Alberta
Develop new marketing strategies to enhance business
3 to 5 years minimum experience in transportation and / or logistics
Self-motivated with excellent problem solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities, working with a diverse group of internal and external customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient computer skills, primarily Microsoft Office; office space provided however access to office resource offsite as needed is required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Post-secondary, project management, marketing certification an asset
Some travel may be required, both within Canada and to the United States
This position is commissioned based
Public transportation is not available to our location, therefore access to a vehicle is mandatory
