To provide support to the company through various HR programs and systems in the areas of Recruitment and On-boarding. This role requires a continuous improvement mindset and an exceptional customer service focus.
This position also provides back-up to the HR Coordinator as required.
This is what you will focus on
Manages full cycle recruitment for the company : job postings, sourcing, screening, scheduling and conducting interviews and assessments, reference checks.
Drives recruitment events to seek out talented candidates.
Coaches hiring managers on interviewing and candidate assessment techniques, and assists the Leader and HR team in the selection process.
Implements an effective sourcing program to identify and recruit top talent for job openings in a timely and effective way.
Utilizes creative tools and social media to attract candidates.
Works with Leaders to prepare job descriptions and postings for all external recruitment.
Develops an ongoing pipeline of qualified candidates by building and maintaining relationships through recruiting sources including candidates, employees, vendors, university and college officials, etc.
Act as the key user and knowledge center for the applicant tracking system. Trains others to use the ATS to manage candidate pipeline and communications.
Manages vendor relationships and introduces alternatives to management.
Tracks all talent acquisition metrics and trends; compiles reports and provides recommendations.
Represents the company at job fairs, professional and networking events, conferences, and tradeshows.
Acts as an ambassador of the company’s brand and creates brand awareness across social media platforms and other avenues.
Implement innovative strategies to hire production team members in a fast paced, production environment.
Provide administrative support on a wide range of HR activities and transactions; handle various incoming queries and administration from Employees and Managers related to the new hire process.
Assists with special projects, initiatives, reporting and documentation, as required.
Completes onboarding administration for all new hires including interfacing with hiring managers to confirm job specific requirements for IT equipment, facilities, training, etc.
Participate as a co-facilitator in the New Employee Welcome program.
Continuously research industry best practices and innovative ways to identify and source potentially passive candidates.
Prioritize and manage multiple schedules and recruitment related projects efficiently, in a fast-paced environment ensuring consistency across processes and continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
Diploma in Human Resources.
Minimum two (2) years recruitment experience.
Proficient in computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc).
Excellent communication, teamwork, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Requires strong multitasking, coordinating and planning skills.
Ability to work overtime and be flexible in works hours to meet internal / external customer needs.
