As Executive Housekeeper, you are responsible for ensuring that the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest suites, public and crew areas are maintained to a high standard.
You will ensure daily inspections of guest suites and public spaces are completed, as well as operating the smooth running of the ship laundry and linen room.
The distribution and storage of guest luggage is also part of your remit, combined with the replenishment of stock items used within the Housekeeping Department.
Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the Assistant Housekeeper, Linen Keeper, Laundry Master, Steward / Stewardess, Laundry Crew and Housekeeping Utilities.
You will be required to carry out staff evaluations and training sessions.
You will currently be working as an Assistant Housekeeper and have substantial experience of working in a fast paced 4 or 5 star hotel with an extensive cleaning program.
You will bring with you budgeting experience, as well as knowledge of the USPH and other international public health rules and regulations.
Cruise ship experience would be an advantage.
You’ll also have a good command of English, with excellent verbal and written communication.
