The Section One Creative Technology team within Oracle provides a unique form of solutions design that brings together product visionaries from across the company to develop solutions that best meet customer needs.

You will be part of a team that is responsible for Sales Engineering and demo creation in the Cloud Technology segment of Oracle’s Application portfolio.

Cloud Technology typically encompasses traditional solutions including Data Warehouses, Business Intelligence (BI), Chatbots, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Platform as a Service and other customer centered areas.

Key areas of focus include

Unlocking creativity in conveying our product vision and technical information in a way that resonates with customers and partners

Supporting the sales pipelines for Cloud Technology globally and attain positive results

Be recognized as a thought leader both internally and externally to Oracle in Cloud Technology, and establish trusted relationships with key stakeholders and customers

Preferred Skills and Experience :

The Creative Technologist will have direct experience in not only the area of SaaS based business functions (sales, presales, business development) but potentially have industry experience in a relevant Sales, Service or Marketing positions.

The ideal candidate will be conversant in today’s technology trends and viewed as an expert in the areas of Cloud Technology.

You will be a creative product person and aware of the power of storytelling in driving sales. Specifically, you will have the experience described below :

Passion for and the ability to meet customer needs

Product and market experience in using or selling Cloud Technology solutions including, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS and / or Oracle

Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills. Able to network and collaborate with both technical and non-

technical teams in an effective manner.

Clearly demonstrate customer-centric design thinking and approach

This individual will have a strong focus on ownership and execution and is comfortable in working in a start-up like environment.

This individual is enthusiastic, high-energy and motivating to those around them, and can lead innovation and creativity for those around them.

Education :

An Engineering or Business focused Bachelors’ degree is preferred. An advanced degree is a plus.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution.

Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project / product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications.

Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools.

Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical / business skills in area of specialization.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

7 years of software engineering or related experience.
