  • Responsibilities

  • Create discipline files, and hearings, including preparing disclosure, scheduling, and compiling records. Records such as hearing briefs, factums, Book of Authorities, motion records and application records
  • Perform administrative tasks
  • Prepare evidence and documents with witnesses
  • Review and make amendments to standard pleadings, affidavits of documents, disclosure briefs, and motions
  • Keep documentation organized and up to date
  • Translating documents from English to French
  • When required conduct research
  • Assets

  • Degree or Diploma in legal / law clerk program
  • Certification with Association of Translators and Interpreters Of Ontario an asset
  • Excellent communication in English and French both verbal and written an asset
  • Experience working on Federal Court files
  • Experience working with a professional regulator and / or Immigration skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong computer skills
