You will be a Senior Application Specialist that partners across technology, business, and back office teams to assess,research, and analyze business, technical and system needs in order to resolve business systems issues, by applying technology solutions that meet sponsor / stakeholder needs.

Context is small to large cross-divisional and transformational programs with multiple applications with multiple interfaces and / or 3rd parties.

What will you do?

  • Understand and capture business requirements, and translate them to functional specifications.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and solutioning for financial market and investments data.
  • Lead complex group meetings (including business partners) for problem solving, decision making andimplementation planning.
  • Provide technical expertise and assist Development and QA teams during Projects execution.
  • Provide efficient second tier support to critical applications.
  • Provide direction, expertise, feedback, coaching, and development to build the capabilities of more junior staff.
  • What do you need to succeed?

    Must-have :

  • Strong understanding of Investment Management business domain and concepts, e.g. discretionary vs non-discretionary management, rebalancing, trading, various instrument and asset class types, performance RoR, UMA, etc.
  • Proven ability to acquire deep functional understanding of new Wealth Management solutions.
  • Excellent data analysis with experience in performing integrations between different data systems and defining their interfaces.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines amongst different projects and priorities.
  • Nice-to-have :

  • Prior working experience with Portfolio Management platforms from Temenos or Envestnet.
  • Working on development projects using Agile methodology
