Responsibilities :
Assist with the adjustment, repair of components on commercial trucks and trailers
Assist with scheduled maintenance service
Perform routine preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers under guidance
Cleaning trucks and trailers in the wash bay
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Fluent in English
Valid driver's license
Mechanically inclined
Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs
Must be able to pass pre-employment testing
Willingness to work outside
Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Positive, pleasant and professional attitude
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Self-motivated with the ability to take own initiative on projects
Awareness of our Corporate objectives and Principles
Team Player - has respect for self and co-workers
Ability to work 8AM to 5PM Monday to Friday with occasional weekends when required
This is an entry level position and comes with the option to grow into a Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprenticeship for the right individual down the road.
