About the Role

We’re looking for an Insurance Assistant to serve as an integral member of the Transportation Insurance Division. You will manage a variety of administrative tasks including but not limited to :

  • Preparing binders, motor vehicle liability cards and certificates of insurance
  • Preparing client premium proposals and pre-renewal information packages
  • Processing invoices, finance contracts and accompanying client letters
  • Reporting claims where required

  • Service-Oriented Well aware of the customer's needs whether they are an internal or external customer. Respond courteously, timely and professionally.
  • Tolerance for Ambiguity Can effectively cope with change or the unknown. Does not get upset with business issues are fluid and not exact.
  • Process Oriented Can figure out work processes needed to get the job done. Understands how to organize activities with efficiency in mind.
  • Education and / or Experience :

  • Post-secondary education Insurance diploma is preferred
  • Typically, more than 1 year of administrative support experience
  • Experience with EPIC or other industry software is an asset
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • RIBO License is an asset
