TECHNICIAN (SHOP & FIELD)
AVAILABLE POSITIONS (ENTRY LEVEL & EXPERIENCED)
HOURLY PAY ($45k TO $55+k PER YEAR) BASED UPON EXPERIENCE, APTITUDE AND POSITIVE WORK ETHIC.
Test, repair, calibrate and certify various instruments, gauges and pressure relief valves (PRVs). We will provide training to qualified Candidates with a willingness to learn and embrace continuous improvement.
Identify, clean, set-up, repair and test instrumentation, gauges and PRVs.
Assist Senior Technicians in the performance of standard repairs, setups, inspections and testing.
Providing legible and accurate proper documentation of associated billable hours, repairs, parts and test results that need to be communicated, invoiced and preserved.
Providing proper maintenance and upkeep of all repairs and testing equipment and ensuring that gauge calibrations are being maintained.
Ensuring test and repair environments are kept clean and orderly and that all Manuals and Documentation are maintained and updated, as needed.
Assist in and perform basic valve lubrication operations.
Preserve the integrity of a Company assigned Credit Card for business travel expenditures.
Perform other duties as requested or directed by Supervisor or Lead Technician.
ADDITIONAL POSITION INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS
Assist and Train with Senior Technicians in the Shop and Field environments.
Flexibility to work in the Shop and Field environments, as needed.
Field jobs are primarily WY (statewide). Some Field jobs require overnight lodging with occasional 2-5 nights lodging during the busier months of April through October.
Yearly average nights lodging' equals 40 or less.
Current Shop hours of 8 AM - 5 : 00 PM (M-F) with mandatory lunch break. Occasional OT, when necessary and approved. Although OT is frequently witnessed, there is no guarantee of OT.
Current Field hours of 6 AM until no later than sunset (M-F) with very few weekends requiring our Services.
Ability to respond to evening and weekend Call-Outs within one hour if On-Call' (On-Call is rotation).
Evening Call-Outs are extremely rare and consist of Customer delivery or pick up of instrumentation, gauges, PRVs and / or parts.
Follow all Company Safety Policies and Procedures.
Keeping Company Service Vehicles clean and report any maintenance issues to Management.
Assisting with any work related paper work (Valve Reports, JSA's, Vehicle Inspection Reports, Daily Activity Reports, etc.)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of a High School diploma or GED, is required.
Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued Driver's License and must be insurable by Company's Insurance.
The successful Candidate must have a mechanical aptitude and the ability to apply basic mechanical and physical concepts.
Candidate must hold current Safety Card or be able to obtain one (Safeland).
Candidate must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol screening, Physical and Background Check.
The Company expects (Entry Level) New Hires to embrace the OJT and be able to pass a PRV Tech I Qualification Standard within 3 months of employment.
