Our client is looking
for a Regional Sales Manager working out of our Toronto office. The Regional Sales Manager will take ownership of our on-board weighing business in the primary markets of Refuse, Aggregate, General Trucking and Timber.
Work directly for Director of Sales & Marketing with no direct reports but responsibility for coordinating with and between customer base and company entities such as sales support, technical support, Engineering, quality and management.
Manage regional sales budget. Includes defining, creating and implementing business strategy in Eastern Canada. Major Responsibilities
Working closely with Director Sales & Marketing and Business Managers to develop and implement regional on-board weighing business strategies.
Primary territory in Eastern Canada market, but also includes interface with related business units worldwide and internal support groups to maximize
Develop, manager and support regional customer base including dealer, OEM and end users. To include product launches, communications, proposals, support and pricing activity
Coordinate with sales support, technical support, management, engineering, production, quality and finance locally to provide customer feedback to company for incorporation into products / service offerings and to provide interface for customer base.
Academic / Professional Education
BS degree in technical or business related disciplines or a combination of formal education with applicable job related training and experience
Technical Skills / Knowledge
On-board weighing, scale and / or transportation industry experience preferable
