Pivotal to our ability to deliver on our commitments, you’ll be responsible for accurate demand forecasting. From planning production to purchasing finished goods and forecasting future revenue.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Direct responsibility for the management of a consensus enterprise forecast for assigned brands and business units.
  • Coordination of monthly demand planning meetings with Sales, Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Manufacturing.
  • Analysis of customer acceptance information and estimated market penetration estimates to develop estimates for new product introductions, identifying high side and low side risk to these estimates.
  • The joint development of inventory strategies with Manufacturing, using accuracy statistics, forecast variability, and estimated risk to forecast projections.
  • Evaluation of consumer and trade promotion activities to establish meaningful projections of future promotions.
  • Contribution to the implementation of processes and systems tools to develop a customer demand driven demand-planning process.
  • Maintaining inventory at appropriate level to ensure high customer service, while meeting brand inventory targets.
  • Thorough management of Excess and Obsolete stock
  • Is This You?

  • BA / BS in Logistics, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or quantitative analysis.
  • 1 - 3 years experience in a demand planning or similar supply chain role.
  • Experience with Customer Level Demand Management (VMI, CPFR) a plus.
  • Good analytic and data analysis skills required.
  • Previous experience using demand-planning software is preferred.
  • Previous experience with relational databases, MS Access, and Advanced Excel functions is a plus.
  • Must be self-motivated, willing to take risks, and comfortable leading the decision making process for cross-functional teams.
  • Must have good negotiation & communications skills.
