Join our team within the Chemtech division of Sulzer Canada as a Jr. Project Manager to help us take FRC to the next level.

In this role you will be accountable for :

  • Maintaining updated customer drawing file
  • Coordinating release of order to production
  • Coordinating status updates after initial order
  • Preparing Change Orders in accordance with project requirements
  • Reviewing specifications, drawings, orders, and Scope Worksheets
  • Reviewing appropriateness of Operation & Maintenance Manuals (O&M)
  • Coordinating with Operations Manager to determine projected ship dates
  • Reviewing mechanical and electrical specifications to determine compliance
  • Supervision and instruction of installation work for systems and turn-key work
  • Inspection of fabricated projects at our fabrication subcontractors (DC and ARMI)
  • Working in a team environment to prepare submittal documentation for equipment
  • Supporting purchasing quote preparation process by sizing and selecting standard products
  • Supporting the sales process by researching and answering all engineering-related questions
  • Coordinating sales order entry updates relative to mechanical, electrical design, or resubmission
  • Reviewing product failures and providing corrective action recommendations to appropriate group(s)
  • Keeping a detailed project administration, especially related to electrical engineering, technical, and commercial information
  • Maintaining close contact with representatives and customers regarding status of order including, but not limited to, delays and / or significant changes in project status, up to time of delivery
  • Supervision of aeration upgrades

  • Proven ability to multi-task, make quick decisions, and possess excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good hands-on technical capabilities and willingness to do all activities needed to create results
  • Cultural flexibility Capable of dealing with the different corporate cultures, and the cultures of production plants of Sulzer-FRC clients
  • If you possess a university or college degree in process, chemical, or mechanical engineering, take the next step and make the most of your project management skills.
