Spotlight on Your New Challenge

Reporting to the Logistics or Production Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the coordination and analysis of activities related to parts inventory.

From the reception of merchandise to transfers, production and packaging, the inventory clerk may be required to work in various departments to ensure the accuracy of the inventory on the production floor.

Your Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all non-production inventory transactions; Painting, movement, counting.
  • Make all types of inventory transactions : Consumption report, completion report, shipping report. Inter-location transfer of goods (internal and external warehouses)
  • Perform cyclical or one-off counts and search for the root causes of inventory discrepancies.
  • Understand the system in order to solve problematic inventory cases.
  • Guide colleagues to perform inventory counts or investigations.
  • Present the results of his analyses to management.
  • Implement continuous improvement actions in order to increase the accuracy of the inventory.
  • Ensure that proper identification of parts is maintained, and that product labelling is in accordance with instructions.
  • Handle, store and transport inventory according to preservation requirements.

    Education & Experience Required

  • Theoretical knowledge equivalent to a lower level than a high school diploma.
  • 2 year of related experience.
  • Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Work with order and method
  • Possess skills in reading drawings and ability in quick mental calculation
  • Ability perform the work with minimal supervision
  • To be inquisitive and have aptitude for teamwork
  • Experience with inventory management software
  • Skills to solve the inventory problem (coordinate follow-up and implementation of solutions)
  • To be inquisitive
  • To be responsible for the proper functioning of the operating system.
  • Can work with a barcode reader.
  • French, oral and written. Intermediate English, spoken and written
