OVERVIEW

Summary : The Distribution Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for the timely, efficient, and accurate processing of products being shipped to (and on behalf) of ABB Optical Group customers.

A Distribution Fulfillment Specialist is a cross trained and multi functional position with the entry level training to enable performing up to 3 core distribution functions as listed below under Key Responsibilities.

Distribution Fulfillment Specialist will be assigned one core function, where he / she will work the predominant portion of their daily work schedule.

As well as be expected to perform work in their secondary function(s) as needed.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Distribution Fulfillment Specialist perform a minimum of one and up to three of the following functions :
  • Picking / Truck Building / 3PL / Audit
  • Packing / Shipping
  • Put Away / Replenishment
  • Order Dropping / Sorting
  • Inventory Stock Movements, Stock Adjustments, Troubleshooting
  • Cycle Counts and Bin Checks
  • Receiving
  • Returns / Return to Vendor
  • Trainer- New Hires, Cross Training
  • Utilizes available equipment and resources, including, but not limited to, WMS software, hardware, and RF scanners.
  • Accountable for the production expectations communicated by management throughout the day.
  • Associate will perform all job functions according to documented standardized operating procedures.
  • Comply with documented standardized work procedures at all times.
  • Meet or exceed established performance thresholds in all core and secondary job functions.
  • Report all known product, process, and or reporting defects and inefficiencies to supervisory personnel.
  • Participate in team, department and company-wide meetings as scheduled. Actively participate in team discussions and provide feedback to maintain and improve the work environment.
  • Ensure that individual work area is clean and organized, with all items in their designated locations.
  • Utilize proper handling techniques and equipment to minimize damages and reduce injuries.
  • Follow and uphold all CCOHS and company guidelines, policies and safety regulations.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required for full time employment or if attending high school is eligible for part time employment.
  • No specific prior work experience.
  • $15.00 Hourly Start Pay
  • Job Type : Full-time
