Bring your proven planning and collaboration skills to this exciting opportunity as a Regional Immunization Leader . In this role you will lead, plan, develop, and implement / evaluate immunization promotional and educational strategies.

You will provide leadership in developing and strengthening core immunization competencies amongst all FH vaccine providers and build partnerships with key stakeholders to expand capacity and achieve organizational goals.

Build on your education and career experience as you :

  • Lead and promote immunization by conducting systems analysis, developing strategies and recommending policy and practice changes;
  • Develop immunization strategies by conducting research and evaluations, set benchmark and measures to determine effectiveness of the organization’s immunizations strategies;
  • Develop systems level support to help enable health care providers and others to employ immunization theories, best practices and tools to achieve operational priorities;
  • Write grant proposals and manage budget for health promotion projects;
  • Monitor and analyze trends related to immunization across the country and the world.
  • Professional / Technical Capabilities :

  • Ability to synthesize evidence into effective presentations and actionable recommendations for broad range of audience;
  • Knowledge of social determinants of health and their impact on health outcomes;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of community development process, marketing strategies, and communication, education and behavior theories;
  • Ability in utilizing communication, marketing, behaviour and education theories to facilitate and coordinate planning, development and implementation of provincial promotion activities and events;
  • Ability in utilizing appropriate promotion planning tools and health behaviour change models to plan relevant programming and make effective and efficient use of limited resources;
  • Ability in utilizing print, audio-visual materials and media resources to reach intended audiences with appropriate promotion messaging;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of research methodology, practices and techniques;
  • Experience in developing grant applications.
  • Are you motivated to join us? We will be looking for you to have :

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing, Science, Public Health, Marketing or in a relevant discipline,
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of recent, related experience in the field of public health and health promotion.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
