The product team, which is part of the Digital Solutions group providing corporate accounting support, is looking for a passionate individual to take part in an overhaul of accounting services.

Join our team and help us to implement new solutions allowing the business sector to optimize and simplify its processes.
As the accounting rule developer, your main responsibilities will include developing settings and providing support for the accounting interpretation solution (Axway software).
You will develop configurations, prototypes and settings for accounting and business rules within the accounting interpreter modules to support the various accounting processes to be implemented.
You will also collaborate with operating teams to provide the necessary user support for solutions and help to determine needs for implementing new functionalities.
Your responsibilities will also include ensuring compliance with established standards and processes as part of Agile development.
Design, configure and develop settings for user-friendly and scalable technological solutions according to the development framework and the established corporate architectureLearn the business and accounting rules for which settings must be developed and propose appropriate solutions in collaboration with the functional analyst, the team designer and the supplier, as necessaryInvestigate unusual behaviours flagged by users and support the production management team in the event of an incidentEnsure the quality of deliverables, working with the designer, analysts and the solution architect, in particular by performing or automating testsEnsure the system’s long-term viability by continuously updating system documentation
Undergraduate degree in accounting or computer science (professional designation in a relevant field considered an asset)At least a basic knowledge of accountingFinance and investment accounting experience (asset)SQL and relational database experience (SQL Server considered as asset)Knowledge of an accounting interpretation tool (asset)Agile delivery method knowledge and experience (asset)Finance / accounting experience (asset)
