Trussle aspires to make homeownership more affordable and accessible to everyone. Owning a home should mean stability and freedom.

Getting and renewing a mortgage today brings stress, anxiety and unfair treatment. Small wonder that millions of homeowners each year lapse on to a costly standard rate, losing billions of pounds through the industry’s lack of transparency.

Homeowners deserve better and we have built Trussle to make this happen. Our technology platform and expertise enables better mortgage decisions in minutes, with no extra fees and with a trusted partner to support them through the journey.

We are rated as the best online mortgage broker on TrustPilot and we are only just getting started. We are scaling fast and working hard to fundamentally re-architect the entire value chain of the mortgage process to offer consumers unprecedented levels of speed and certainty.

Trussle was founded by its CEO, Ishaan Malhi, whose own frustration with the mortgage experience led him to believe there must be a better way.

There wasn’t, so he decided to build one. The company’s early success is recognised through his inclusion in the Forbes 30 under 30 and UK’s Top 100 Entrepreneurs by the Sunday Times & Telegraph, respectively.

Mortgage market : The UK mortgage market is worth more than £1.3 trillion, across 11.1 million mortgages, making it the largest in Europe.

Each year 1.25m mortgages or £250Bn in value are originated each year, of which 75% are arranged by a broker. There are approximately 12,000 mortgage brokers in the market today.

Trussle has big ambitions to take on this huge market and solve one of the last areas of financial services to digitise. Trussle is a Series B backed company and has raised £19.
