We are seeking experienced Material Handlers for Fort McKay Logistics LP. The incumbent is to conduct all activities in a manner that supports the mission, vision and values of the Fort McKay Group of Companies LP.
Key focuses :
Must have a good working knowledge of materials used in the industry
Load and offload trucks
Pick items as per work orders
Lift and carry boxes
Be alert to risks and threats in order to prevent losses before they occur
Give proper care to the operation and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
Maintain professional driving habits at all times
Must be dependable and reliable
Must be flexible and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Must be decisive and work well under pressure; particularly when faced with an unexpected occurrence or delay
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, are vital
7 on 7 off schedule (days and nights)
Experience and Education :
Grade twelve (12) Diploma or GED equivalent is required
Retention of a valid Class five (5) driver's license and a clean five (5) year drivers abstract required
Valid CSO certification (or combination of CSTS and OSSA or BSO) is required
SAP experience is an asset
TDG ticket is an asset
Aerial Work Platform certification is an asset
Ability to speak, write and read English is required
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
These are permanent full-time positions located north of Fort McMurray, AB.
