Avionic Technician Calgary about the job Our client, based in Calgary, is looking for several avionics technicians for a six (6) month contract.
your responsibilities The role of the avionics technician is to perform various system integration tasks in aircraft as well as flight simulators.
More precisely : Support the avionics engineering team during the entire integration phase to validate the installation and operation of avionics systems Diagnose avionics hardware design, integration, and equipment failures on our simulators and associated systems Propose fixes to observed hardware issues and implement them when approved Make minor software changes to correct some problems with avionics systems Coordinate efforts to correct all observed problems Participate in the definition and assembly of hardware test platforms (laboratory) Interact with the hardware engineering department responsible for flight simulators Manage inventory of test equipment and participate in the equipment purchase process our offer Competitive salary If expatriate : Daily per diem Paid rent and transportation Return flights every three (3) months our requirements College diploma in avionics techniques Experience with the Bombardier CL215 / CL415M1 and M2 licenseAbility to interpret diagrams and other technical documents related to aviation Good knowledge of avionics systems and associated terminology Good knowledge of various communication protocols such as ARINC-
