Required Skills

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely coordination of shipments relative to manufacturing, service and aftermarket part movement in / out of the Ridgeway and Speakman Warehouse Locations.

The candidate will support the miscellaneous pickup and delivery of materials using the IMAX truck as assigned by the Team Leader.

In addition, the candidate will support product packaging and shipping documents for local and overseas shipments.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Support all inventory control activities. (In / Out / Adjustment) This may include pick-up, put-away, shipping.
  • Coordinate timely parts / systems movement between Ridgeway and Speakman based on build / ship schedules.
  • Must ensure delivery schedules are met and identify when issues arise.
  • Ensure that IMAX safety requirements are adhered to, as well as any laws or regulations regarding driving the IMAX truck.
  • Ensure IMAX QMS procedures are adhered to.
  • Support customer system shipments with the Logistics Group and Manufacturing.
  • Responsible for a clean and safe work environment.
  • Maintain truck delivery log.
  • What we’re looking for :

  • Ideally 5 years of progressive experience in a Stores / Warehouse environment.
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (Excel) and warehouse / stores transactions in ERP systems.
  • Post-secondary diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift experience is required.
  • First Aid and WHMIS certification preferred.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license (Must provide drivers abstract).
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with a positive outlook, high energy and acts as a role model.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment.
  • Truck Driving Experience.
  • Strong team player, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary manufacturing environment.
