The Senior Product Marketing Manager of Network and IoT will report into the Director of Product Marketing and Planning.

Working for the marketing organization within the Rogers for Business, this role will be responsible for the development of the go to market strategy and execution of our Network Uplift in preparation for 5G and IoT services.

This includes the development of an integrated marketing plan to ensure that the business unit achieves and exceeds our annual plan and provides the guidance to the organization on how to execute.

Working cross-functionally, this position will be a key member supporting the broader RCI working team on 5G.

Finally, you understand technology but have a gift for pulling out the pieces that are most important for customers to make decisions that lead them to choosing Rogers for their business.

Responsibilities :

Value Proposition Development

  • Developing the value propositions for the IoT portfolio by product, segment, and even region
  • Developing and evolving the 5G value proposition by segment, application, and region
  • Deliver propositions that are clear, easy to understand, and are customer centric by focusing on their problems and outcomes
  • Marketing Plan Development

  • Work cross-functionally to develop holistic marketing plans that integrate various tactics that maximize profitability while reducing CPL / CPA
  • Make recommendations based on historical performance
  • Develop KPI’s to measure success and drive PIR’s to determine what changes need to be made next time
  • Participate in product performance reviews to gather real-time feedback and adjust our in-market plans to ensure P&L success monthly, quarterly, and annually
  • Go-to-Market Strategy Development

  • Develop innovative approaches to market launches that helps cut through the noise and positions Rogers as a leader in technology
  • Create thought leadership frameworks to address the varying business audiences across segments and regions
  • Work cross-functionally on customer activations, demos, and trials
  • Contribute to new product introduction by developing requirements and conceptualizing creative and innovative ways to enter new markets
  • Qualifications :

  • University degree in business, marketing or a combination of work experience and education relevant to the role
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing roles of increasing seniority in a B2B environment
  • Telecom experience a must, preferably within wireless and or IoT
  • Strategic thinker with experience in development of marketing strategies that align to business goals and objectives
  • Executive level reporting and presentation skills with proven experience that demonstrates influencing and persuasion skills
  • Proven interpersonal and relationship management skills, with ability to facilitate consensus among multiple stakeholders including senior management
  • Strong financial acumen for annual budgeting and reporting
  • Professional accreditation considered an asset
