  • Prepareand demonstrate food and non-food vendor products to Costco clubmembers.

    PositionSummary

    As the in-houseproduct demonstration company for Costco Wholesale, CDS hasfriendly, professional and talented employees who provide highquality product demonstrations and marketing services to CostcoWholesale and its vendors.

    The goal of our teams is to create agreat member experience that increases sales the day of ademonstration and the months thatfollow.

  • The SalesAdvisor will generate excitement, brand awareness and increaseproducts sales through event sampling and promotions;
  • continuouslyengage and communicate with members regarding product; encouragemembers to purchase event product set up and breakdown of workingarea, preparation of samplingproducts.

  • Engagethe consumer by creating brand awareness andenthusiasm
  • Dynamically sell productto the member
  • Assist other SalesAdvisors as required in a team-orientedenvironment
  • Set-up and organizemerchandise; prepare vendor products according to writteninstructions
  • Coordinate, organizeand close down work area including cleaning and sanitizing, washingand drying dishes and proper storage ofequipment
  • Adhere to all Food Safetyhandling and sanitation training andguidelines
  • Participate and adhere toall safety policies andpractices
  • Perform other relatedduties as assigned orrequired

  • MinimumQualifications

    Field ofStudy / Area of Experience : Degree Program / Major (e.g. Marketing,Business Administration, or related field)

    0-2Years of experience in retail / grocery, sales and / or restaurant / foodservice highlydesirable

    Field / Reps Requirements

    Incumbent must be able toperform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed in aretail in-store environment. Typically requires the ability tospend 66%+ hours each work day doing the followingactivities : engage in considerable physical activity, abilityto lift and / or push up to 10 kg, stand on feet for long periods oftime, use products or cook food as appropriate for thedemonstration, and may be required to work in extremely coldconditions (i.

    e. refrigerated and freezer sections). The use ofproper safety practices when handling the products and / or cookingisessential.
