Based in London, Ontario (Canada), Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and San Diego, California (USA) Robarts has specific expertise in the design, implementation and interpretation of multicenter randomized controlled trials in both Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis.
Currently Robarts is setting up 'translational expert centers' across the globe for early drug assessment in IBD. Besides protocol development and execution, Robarts' expertise is focused at pharmacokinetics, biomarkers, imaging and biostatistics in IBD.
JOB SUMMARY : This position is responsible for undertaking the technical activities required to build, test, maintain and archive clinical study databases throughout the duration of a study.
This position may also act as the Lead Database Programmer and serve as a technology adviser to internal teams and sponsorsAREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY : Database Build and Designo Create annotated (e) Case Report Forms (eCRF)o Build, test and maintain clinical databaseso Program and test automated edit checksDatabase Programming Support for Ongoing Studieso Create and test files necessary for the electronic upload of datao Program and generate data listings for ongoing studieso Program and generate project tracking reportso Perform data transferso Perform CR publishing requestso Manage database accesso Archive electronic data and required documentation on study completion Clinical Programming Leadership and Communicationo Act as programming contact with sponsor to address database issues regarding or relating to area of expertiseo Communicate the database set-
up status and the achievement of milestones to internal or external project team memberso May assist in the creation and documentation of new or revised departmental proceduresQUALIFICATIONS : Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study and 1-
3 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate must exhibit the following : knowledge of Clinical Data Management processes and systems.
