Due to our continued growth, Magna Search Group is on the hunt for a results oriented Recruiter / Account Manager to work out of our Vancouver head office (Marpole).

This role should resonate with someone who has exceptional business development, cold-calling and cold-emailing skills, who can create new business relationships, and can express value to any decision maker in an organization.

The successful candidate will positively impact business results by assisting with recruitment strategies, driving and acting as a world class talent scout.

You are are an individual that picks things up with ease, and can carry a fluid conversation with just about anyone. You will aspire to create positive change, to become a valued consultant that numerous companies depend on to solve their complex staffing problems.

You will be provided with the foundation, but tasked to build and manage a successful portfolio of corporate accounts that spans throughout North America.

  • Day to day responsibilities :

    Account Management (50%)

  • Strategic outbound Cold-calling leads phone and e-mail , prospecting constantly, account management, and growing your customer base throughout North America.
  • You will not be limited to territory OR industry

  • Developing and maintaining your customer base by prospecting and securing new accounts
  • Meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Headhunting on job orders that was a direct result of your efforts
  • Actively listening to customers and driving solutions
  • Setting up appointments and CRM management
  • Recruitment (50%)

  • Collaborate with Senior Recruitment Associates to build a recruitment plan to fill open requisites
  • Actively hunt for top talent through strategic sourcing methods and relationship building
  • Provide a best-in-class candidate experience to contribute to a high level of successful job offer acceptances
  • Conduct research of market utilizing data and analytics
  • Build talent pipeline strategies
  • Provide a full life cycle recruitment support
  • Engage in special projects to support overall recruitment strategies
  • Additional duties assigned by management from time to time
  • Skills and Qualifications :

  • Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Communications, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in recruitment agency recruitment OR internal recruitment
  • Proven track record of working in a robust culture and very fast paced environment
  • Proactive and able to show initiative / ideas to constantly improve the recruitment needs of the business
  • A high level of professionalism, entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude
  • Strong experience working with MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to communicate a diverse selection of roles to candidates from all walks of life, in a passionate and professional way.
  • You know and understand how to speak with candidates in a effective and clear manner
  • Experience with phone and email sales and / or corporate account sales
  • Positive and a never give-up attitude HUNGRY, HUMBLE, SMART!
  • Exceptional written communication skills you have great sales copy
  • Results-oriented, creative and charismatic with the desire to share a laugh
