Our client is searching for the ideal individual, responsible for developing and maintaining key relationships with High Value customers while maintaining a focus on ongoing business development for strategic customers within the Wine & Spirits and large Retail sectors.
POSITION DESCRIPTION :
Identify, cultivate and maintain favorable contact with high level decision makers including C-suite level. Strive to recognize strategic business challenges while developing a business fit with the customer.
Focus on providing Customer Satisfaction by leveraging the organization’s network and engaging all stakeholders.
Focus on performance management of the accounts at both local and global levels with network partners.
Develop sales plans and proposals that support improved share of wallet from targeted prospects.
Aggressively seek and develop new business relationships with major target companies within the assigned area of responsibility.
Manage overall business relationships, dealing with each prospects' highest buying levels and coordinating the activities of prospect-focused teams.
Identify business opportunities and assess prospective customer needs.
Manage the processes and delivery of Bids, RFQ’s, proposals and quarterly business reviews.
Communicate and drive with product stake-holders large ocean-freight carrier strategy, aligning block space agreement and strategic carrier and routing solutions.
Understanding of the Wine &Spirits Market, its dynamics, seasonality and relationship with suppliers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Exhibit an outstanding degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy. Analyze and resolve complex cross-functional issues.
Well-developed relationship skills and the ability to network within multiple levels of an organization and other business units.
Proficient working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power point.
Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
Strong written and communication skills.
Ability to listen and determine customer’s needs and determine strategies and action plans.
Effective presentation & negotiating skills.
