As the Senior Change Management Advisor, you will provide strategic change management support related to IT initiatives.
This role is accountable for the planning, organizing, managing and deploying of CM strategies and activities integrated with project plans.
You will also be responsible for the development of communication strategic planning and development of internal communications.
You will work in close collaboration with the project team, ensuring issue resolution and follow-ups required for success.
The IT Senior Change Management Advisor plays a key role in ensuring IT projects meet objectives by increasing employee adoption and usage.
The incumbent’s primary responsibility is to develop and implement change management strategies and plans that facilitate the transition for individuals, teams, and organizations with the aim of driving user-
adoption and minimizing resistance.
As the IT Senior Change Management Advisor, you will bring with you and document a structured change management approach.
You will be responsible for executing on the change management framework for IT projects, contributing to the continuous improvement of the framework, coaching Project Managers and providing guidance to other change agents within IT and our business colleagues.
In your role, you will need to :
Implement and monitor the Change Management Strategy, Plan, and related Deliverables covering : Change Leadership / Stakeholders + Organizational Readiness / Assessment + Branding / Communication + Learning / Training + Local deployment / mobilization
Deliver the overall Change Leadership / Stakeholders deliverables including the Stakeholder Assessment and subsequent support
Deliver the overall Organizational Alignment deliverables including the Organizational impact assessment and subsequent deliverables
Work closely with internal communication and oversee the Project Positioning + Communication Strategy & Plan+ related communication activities (with the active involvement of internal resources)
Deliver the Project’s Training and Documentation Strategy and oversee all training activities with the active involvement of internal resources
Oversee the Deployment & Mobilization activities to enable business ownership of the implementation with the active involvement of Business / Sector Leads, Change Champions / Agents and Super Users
Provide ad hoc mentoring and coaching on Change Management to all project team members to help build Change management skills within the team.
Provide support in the area of people change and transition management for transformations resulting from technology and process transformation;
Define and manage a series of change processes allowing the optimum transition of the organization, identifying risk while optimizing its change readiness;
Develop case for change, leadership alignment, executive analysis, stakeholder management (VPs, Directors), develop high level impacts / risks to change, develop overall change readiness strategy, identify business risks and designs interventions;
Develop Communication Strategies and Communication Plans designed for all levels of stakeholders and users
Create and develop communication deliverables such as memos, newsletters, presentations, communication packages, video vignettes (Create and edit video montages), etc...;
Establish working relationships with high level management, staff and project team members to ensure strong integration of the solution.
Proactively share Change management best practices.
As our ideal candidate,
The candidate must have a minimum 7 to 10 years’ experience in the Change Management domain;
The candidate must have experience in developing Change Management and Communication Strategies and Communication or Project Management Plans;
Ideal candidate must have experience in creating and developing Corporate Communications : Newsletters, Memos, Presentations, Video Vignettes, etc
Bachelor’s degree and / or Master degree in Human Systems or any related field;
Knowledge of Project Management;
Understanding of IT / ERP Implementations approaches, methodologies.
You have an in-depth understanding of manufacturing business environment and related processes and of organizational / human issues associated with business process changes;
Skills & Expertise :
Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, techniques and tools;
Ability to work with and follow an existing change management framework, while maintaining a continuous improvement mindset
Strong understanding of how people go through a change and the change process;
Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges;
Fluent in English and French, skilled communicator, both in writing and speaking;
Excellent active listening skills;
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal;
Ability to work in a fast-changing environment and to learn new tools / applications quickly;
Ability to work effectively at all levels in an organization, with multiple stakeholders and to establish strong relationships
Strong people skills including patience and diplomacy.

Change management certification or designation desired (PROSCI is an asset).
You are fluent in written and spoken French and English.
